I’ve been a loyal fan of the Freedom Racerback tank because the flowy bottom flatters my pear-shaped frame, but I decided to try the Aspen tank when I saw it in the stunning Grape color—and wow, I’ve been missing out!
I typically wear a size 3 in SheBird, but I sized up to a 4 for the Aspen and it fits beautifully. I’m 5’1”, 160lbs, and while the Freedom tank runs a bit long on me, the Aspen hits at just the right spot. The fit is incredibly flattering, and I love that it smooths everything out—no bra lines showing on my back!
I’ve already gotten so many compliments. If you’re on the fence, just go for it! I’ll definitely be ordering more—I’ve got my eye on the black and white striped one next.

I already reviewed the Aspen top which is definitely my favorite due to the professional neckline, stretchy ribbed material, and more fitted silhouette. I have it in grape, grey, navy, and now….stripes! I am so happy SheBird chose a classic black and bone stripe as their first print in this top because that classic print perfectly complements the classic fit and look of the Aspen. This top is perfect for going out to eat, on a walk or for a midday light workout, or to work. It’s so versatile offering a professional look AND comfort. As always the built in bra is amazing although I do occasionally have trouble finding the holes to access the pads when they slide around. I am so excited about this one that I had to review it separately. Once a style sells it, it is often not restocked so if you really love something, buy it while you can. I learned this the hard way a few times.

The built in bra minimizes my girls, which I am pleased about. I love the non-binding smooth built-in bra. The purple plum color is great and the waist is not too tight and doesn’t show my little muffin top

Super soft, a perfect neutral and professional color, and more fitted than the freedom style, this top is a perfect piece for layering under sweaters or blazers. I also love that it’s a professional neckline and appropriate for work with no worry. I sized up from my usual size 3 to a 4 and am happy I did.
