How are SheBird built-in bras different than other dresses with shelf bras?

Other dresses with built-in bras offer limited support and can lead to sagging and an unflattering shape, especially for women who wear larger bra sizes. They can also be more difficult to care for if you have to take special care of the bra component of the dress.

With SheBird’s innovative construction, you get total support for any bra size and a gorgeous shape. 

The built-in bra lifts and separates, so you get the same silhouette as you would with a hard-wire bra. But the built-in shapewear is 100% wirefree, leaving you free to wear it all day without hard-wire fatigue.

It’s elegant enough for a swanky restaurant. But it’s also versatile enough that you can wear it to the beach with a pair of flat sandals or with your favorite pair of trendy white sneakers during your shopping escapades. 

It’s all about what style you want to create, and with a sleek cut and black or terracotta colors, you can dress it up or down however you like.

Is there adjustability in the bra?

Maximum adjustability: We offer 3 styles which provide maximum adjustability in the shoulder strap length – where on your torso the bra lays:

-The Savannah Dress – bra strap sliders.

-The Sofia Gauze Halter Dress – you control how high and snug you tie the halter which controls where the bra hits you.

-The Harper Knit Halter Dress – you control how high and snug you tie the halter which controls where the bra hits you.

 Regular Adjustability: all other styles have built-in
stretch to accommodate the natural range of where a women’s bust sits on their torso.  All our bras are custom designed for each dress and top we make
and are sized in ½ sizes to provide the best fit possible.

Bra Band fit: all our bras are made of 4 way stretch nylon/spandex jersey which stretches up to 3 inches
in all directions – so no matter if what your shape - wider and thinner or narrower and thicker (we love thick girls!!) we stretch with you.

Can I wash this with my other clothes?

YES! You can wash in cold water and lay out flat to dry. Bra pad can be taken out or left during the wash.

Can I remove/access the bra pads?

Yes! The bra pads can be removed. You can access the pads via the slits in the front upper corner of the built-in bra – by the arm hole. The pads can also be replaced by a prosthesis.
